Felix Betro is a highly accomplished estate Certified Public Accountant, estate planning attorney, and business valuation analyst. As President, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of business operations to ensure your experience as a client is successful and your needs are properly met. With more than 30 years of professional experience serving the needs of individuals, families and business owners, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that you can rely on to meet your legal, accounting, investment, and estate planning goals.

Felix is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Southern New England School of Law. He is admitted to the Bar of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, a Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is the principal of The Law Offices of Felix S. Betro and a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Other memberships include the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Felix has served as Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and as President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

In his spare time, Felix enjoys music, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his wife, Patty, and three children.

Gary E. Blumenthal, CPA/ABV, CVA, MST earned both his B.S. in Accounting and Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.  He is also Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a Certified Valuation Analyst and member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.  He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Gary’s over 40-year accounting career has included being a partner in two CPA firms, currently as Vice President at Betro and Company, P.C. since 2014, where he divides his time between tax/accounting consulting and business valuation, the latter of which includes expert witness testimony in various family and probate courts as well as the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.  He was a Chief Financial Officer in an advertising company and a market research firm in between his stints in public accounting.

He has also been an adjunct instructor at Stonehill College, where he developed a course in International Accounting, and an adjunct lecturer at Bentley University.   In addition, he has been a contributor to two textbooks published by McGraw Hill.

He enjoys problem-solving for both businesses as well as individuals, and is equally happy as a mentor in the development of the accounting staff at the firm.

Gary lives in Sharon, MA with his wife June, is the proud father of daughter Rachel, a noted “foodie” in Boston, his son-in-law Joel, a wizard on the sax, and he gets his exercise chasing his almost 3-year old grandson Isaac.  In his spare time, he is an active member of the Sharon Community Chorus and enjoys performing winter holiday concerts at various elderly facilities as well as a public Pops concert in the spring. He is a past Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Audit Committee Chairman and Budget Committee member of Temple Israel in Sharon.
